Steak: The Strip House - 13 East 12th Street (5th Avenue & University Place)

While not as well known as The Palm, Peter Luger (stay away!), or Sparks, The Strip House is my favorite steak house in NYC. All of the steaks are excellent, but the sides and the wine list shine as well - especially the Lamb Shank and Cabbage "Flan" and the Crisp Goose Fat Potatoes.
