"New American": The Stanton Social - 99 Stanton Street (Orchard & Ludlow Streets)

Bring a few friends because all of the dishes are designed to be shared and you will want to try a bunch of items. They recommend 2-3 items per person - I'd say 10 items for four people is about right. Be sure to grab the French Onion Soup Dumplings, the Duck Empanadas, and a few of the Sliders, which are small sandwiches (Kobe Beef Burgers, BBQ Pulled Pork, and Lobster Rolls). The scene is fairly hip, but not oppressively loud, and the upstairs bar is fairly laid back.
